"I came to this thrift store a month ago with my daughter, and I was not going to leave a review because honestly, I like to give places and people a second chance, kind of like what a thrift store is. When I walked in everything seemed fine, kind of dark, they had Christian music on which was wonderful, they had some cool stuff, but I felt the people where a bit "cold" I shook it off to perhaps they were having a bad day. the prices for some things were ok, but for others like plate "sets" was kind of high, they didn't sell them as a set, like the sheriff's thrift store in Leesburg. But the reason I am only giving them 2 stars is because the entire time we were there, it felt as though they had trust issues and different people were following us around giving us "evil stares" as the worship music played, I felt like the pharisees were judging me as I tried to shop with my daughter who really wanted to stop by. I make good money so there is no need for me to shop at a thrift store, but we genuinely enjoy them, and I was shocked at the hypocrisy of the store workers/volunteers following us around with mean faces, while the worship music played. I can't imagine that this is a real Christian place at all, and it is sad because you get better service in a secular place at times instead of at a Christian organization. I am disappointed in this thrift store. If my children would like to go again, I would take them, but I alone would never go back. They should have a staff meeting on spreading "Hope" as their name implies, and be the faces of Jesus instead of making others feel like criminals for walking in. I pray this place has a Jesus moment and change up the approach to none "white" customers. We will see each other in heaven "hope-fully" no pun intended."

"Prices were a bit high fir second hand things. Especially dish "sets" they individually price the whole set instead of one price for all. Too high priced. I was looking for salt and pepper shaker and small used dresser. I would have had to pay almost 75$. not thrift prices. The place was very well set up and the clerk was a nice guy that's why I give 4 stars. I won't be shopping there again though"

"You know I love this store and I would have loved to given it a five-star rating..but unfortunately my last visit to this store this past weekend... I feel like a young lady was very mean and extremely unfriendly and snooty with a snod attitude....cheated me the lady at the register well I don't think she's a lady she look like a more like a girl to me..... But I love the sales because I don't have much money... I am a caregiver and I do it for room and board... So I can never buy anything new so I go to Hope ministries and also I feel good that my money is going to someplace good.... However I look for the sales and it said a green sticker so I went through there on the first two aisles and got a few things with the green sticker I was excited about it....then when I got to the register she told me that she could not honor the green sticker because it changed.... And I'm like what it changed while I was shopping... So I had to put the things back and it really upset me, I really feel like I was not treated right and it's false advertisement also.... And again at the same place the same day there was a big box of flowers they was a quarter a piece.... So I picked up a flower but it had two stems on it that was made like that and it was plastic.... She also would not honor the quarter... Which again was false advertisement..... I mean seriously I go in the store all the time I have gotten furniture from there I have actually designed my room.with stuff from Hope ministries..... And for it to be a nonprofit and spiritually associated, that day I felt like the devil was surrounding that place.... What I went through with that young lady put me through was not right was not right at all..... I'm really going to pray for her because she needs a lot of prayers in her life ... And in the midst of all of this she was rude with a snotty demeanor"

"Its a pretty good thrift store! It needs better lighting but other than that its clean and priced fairly well. They do look some stuff on ebay which is a pet peeve of mine on thrift stores bc they go by the listed price on ebay not the sold price so in my opinion if they are going to do that they should go by the sold price so its more accurate But its clean and friendly and they do a lot for the community so its definitely worth a stop in."
