"Definitely going to stay a bit more. No complaints. Dogs allowed, reservation is needed, nonpotable water, porta potty 1, camp sites. Read the story about the girl who was murdered there in the 70s. Alot of history here."

"Quiet, no light pollution, very nice camp host. We had a large group in the primitive camp area and we felt like we were alone in the world. Facilities were well taken care of as well. Also, only a 40 min drive to a bunch of really cool springs and state parks"

"Great spot for primitive camping . Bring your own firewood . Ample spots to customize your own site. Some sunny some shady . and some in the middle of a field . There are lots of cows around, too . public bathrooms clean and smell fresh . It's used as a hunting camp on the weekends. camp host is friendly and accommodating. Pets are allowed. free permits must be obtained before your visit. it's a pretty simple online process. The hikingtrail to Little jones Creek is worth it . lots of wildlife . deer and wild pigs. Did some fishing . bluegills were hitting well ."

"Goid camping area by, you cannot drive to see lake. But it is only 2 mikes to the lakes from campground. I didn't walk, it was very rainy day. But my direction said 2 miles. It should be nice walk, pine trees, sabpndy pretty flat service road. I was sad that I couldn't get there."

"Spectacular Park: Free (huge) campsites, flush toliets, ancient Oaks, dressed in Spanish moss, miles of trails...that allow dogs too. Off-leash dog park close by and a fab seafood restaurant, that I highly recommend; Catfish Johnny's, with porch dinning."
