"I went to this store today and it was an absolute mess! Boxes, grocery carts full of merchandise and stocking carts in every isle. They are short handed because 3 of the 4 employees on the front sidewalk smoking. I put everything back and walked out!! The Manager was among the smokers and she should be fired. You don't take smoking breaks 3 people at a time while the store burns down."
"If I could give less than one star I would give many negative ones! The store is old, dirty and completely dysfunctional. Entrance and exit doors are right by check out and everybody is running in to everybody. Once you pay you have to cut through other people and their lines to try to get out the exit door this creates complete chaos. It's Saturday Memorial Day weekend and they have two employees working. I do commend these two gentlemen by staying calm and pleasant when the store was completely packed and people were irrate. Shelves were not stocked, items were not priced and the whole store was a complete mess. You couldn't even get a lot of their advertised specials because they were in the back stock room and there was nobody to get them out onto the shelves. This place looks like a wholesale thrift store that got vandalized! Also the flooring is probably older than I am so you don't know if it's just worn or actually filthy. Was going to take pictures of the inside but I had to leave and come home and take a shower. Dollar General corporate office should be ashamed and all managers there should be fired. There are so many code violations and Hazards at this store it should be shut down!!! The district manager did end up calling me and addressing my concerns along with the store manager manager. I appreciate the prompt response and the professionalism during our conversation."
