"Proudly displays that they are open normal hours on a nicely colored Thanksgiving sign. Then beside it is a ugly scrap of paper saying they are closed at this location. What is it? Are you open or closed."
"This morning while we shopped (and spent 60+ dollars), my wife needed to use the restroom. The bathroom door has a sign indicating to please ask an employee for the key, so she sought out an employee who was stocking shelves. This employee, who we later found out is named Jen, proceeded to rudely tell my wife they didn’t have any public restrooms. My wife then said “oh, I saw on your restroom door that it says to ask an employee”- Jen proceeded to get in my wife’s face and yelled loudly enough that I could hear several aisles over “WE DONT HAVE PUBLIC RESTROOMS”. My wife told Jen that we were purchasing items and she once again cut her off and yelled at her that they do not have public restrooms. First off- how dare you yell at someone who was simply asking a question that they were directed to ask by the sign on YOUR door? Secondly, who yells at a polite customer instead of simply saying “oh I’m sorry, our restroom is out of order”, or something to that effect. We will never shop in this store again and I have called the corporate dollar general regarding this and will continue to follow up with management until a satisfactory resolution is reached. I cannot believe the audacity to scream at someone in public and believe that you can keep your job. Jen, if you read this- consider yourself incredibly lucky my wife stopped me from confronting you over this in the store. I hope you are fired for this egregious overreaction."
