"Needed some emergency supplies for my injured child and the website clearly states a closing time of 10:00pm Sun - Mon (with the exception of New Year's Eve and Day). Not having a vehicle, I hoped on my bike in the rain (of course, right,?) to my neighborhood Dollar general at 4404 Grand boulevard in Trouble Creek Square. I understand I was cutting it close to closing time, however, I reached my destination with plenty of time to get in and get out with little to no hindrance to the employees. To my surprise and dismay, to say the least, I encountered dimmed lights and a locked door! It was only 9:45pm! Naturally, I assumed Google was not updated on the hours of operation, as I find happens frequently, and they in fact, closed at 9pm. I will never know the answer to that quandary due to the fact that they failed to post the weekly hours of operation on the front of the store, as just about every other brick and mortor busines does in this country! I can only assume the store associates purposefully removed said display so that a "Karen" such as myself , will be deterred from calling their lack of work ethic and again speculated laziness out within a review. But I could care less if I'm wrong or right. Either adjust your story hours on Google like a diligent business manager or stay open until the listed closing time. Doesn't send difficult . Thank you for taking the time to read my rant, I sincerely hope you have enjoyed yourself and found this entertaining, which was intended, but I'm quite irritated. These"employees" certainly burn my butter!"

"Unbelievable I frequently shop here but this morning the lady at the register had a nervous breakdown on me. I greeted her as I walked in and grabbed two items. The Staff is usually not present,smoking ,or mia. I usually do self check. But this time I assume she wanted to ring me up. As I approached the front reg She had paperwork all over the scanner. So I just mentioned If I should have gone to self checkout. At this moment she threw the biggest tantrum saying" I'm the only one here. I.Here for you I wish everyone one would stop saying that " all the while waving her hands like a crazy person . I hope she figures out those demons God bless her heart"

"Horrible service. One of the staff members, I think her name is Amber, is very rude. She has all this negative energy when treating the customers. She really hates working there. You can tell for the way she treats customers. Hope she finds a job she likes so she can enjoy LIFE!. The manager tried to justify her, instead of helping the situation. Definetely it was not a good experience for me. and I do not recommend shopping at this location to anyone."

"This store is closest to my house & I can't tell you how many times I have tried to stop here & they're just randomly closed. It's 7:35pm & they're closed? The last time this happened I actually talked to a gentleman out front & he said he took a bus there just for them to be closed. How are you a major chain store & you just close when you feel like it?? At least change your hours online to show people your closed. It takes about 60 seconds to do. & when they are open they have inventory blocking half of the aisles. I really will try my hardest not to even attempt to come to this location anymore."
