"Not a real good beach. Crowded and a lot of the prime chair spots are take up by rental chair/umbrella combos. The water is really shallow too . Perdido pass is a better bet."

"$3 to park. The beach was clean and not crowded at all. The sand was nice and white and water was Luke warm. Beautiful and relaxing. I took my daughter there one afternoon. We sat on the beach and watched some people catch crabs in the sand and others walk romantically along the shore."

"Great beach with amazing sand like fine flour and water which was warm most of the days we were here, although a few days brought lots of jelly fish - I have never seen so many of them!!!! They surely kept everybody out of the warm water. This area is simply amazing and you can walk for miles on the beach, reminding me of Clearwater and the other beaches in Florida. Pity the hotels are not top hotels like the ones in Florida, yet the prices are. Also is difficult to find top restaurants, the only exception was Carver's and the usual chain of restaurants, hence had a day trip to Pensacola where there are more varieties in this respect."

"The Beach access parking was easy to get to and not too crowded. The bathrooms were very clean. There is not a shower inside the bathroom though, just outside but that was ok and the water was cool and refreshing after being on the beach and hauling everything back to the car."

"Very windy today but the waves were something special to watch. They started charging to park at this beach starting this year (2021). But I guess someone has to pay for the good bathroom facilities they have and the life guards they have on duty. During the Off season they don’t keep the beaches as swept and as clean as they do during the peak times. Still a beautiful beach to visit!"
