Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach Beachfront

"They asked when we checked in how often we would like our room cleaned… I said every other or every 3rd day would be good …. So it was scheduled by the guy at the front desk…. Waited till 2:45 and still wasn’t there. We had friends to meet so told someone else at the front desk … they said it would be done….. what a joke… we came back and there were 2 bags at our front door… one with towels and one with bedding ( my interpretation was here, do it yourself)…. NOT IMPRESSED !!!"

"I waited 2 weeks to post this so I wouldn't be anger to post The parking lot lighting stinks Check in is at 4pm. Don't ask for an early check-in -- you will get told rudely NO The maid service leaves rubber hand gloves in the hallways For the price you pay, you would think there is a free Continental breakfast--NO The minor repairs that were being done looked bad You were lucky to have water pressure and hot water Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone"

"Let me start with the positives; The staff was wonderful. Quite friendly and helpful. The room was great except the pillows were not the best experience. The breakfast was terrific and extensive selection to choose from. OK, here we go with the rest of the story. We had no hot water when we arrived and in fact, we did not have any hot water until the day we checked out. It would come on for a few minutes and then would turn cold again. Because of the hot water issue, were did receive free parking and breakfast one of the days which was thoughtful. I was excited when the front desk informed me that they had TWO hot tubs. Sadly, between the two hot tubs only two jets worked. In fact, one of the guests we met in the hot tub closer to the beach said they had been coming there for 8 years and every year one less jet is working so as you can see this is an issue that has not been addressed. I mentioned the lack of working jets and the employee at the front desk said a part had been ordered a long time ago, but never arrived. My wife and I stay in many locations throughout the USA, and this will not be one of the locations going forward. Employees were great, but not enough to override this review."

"Where do I begin? If you're not looking you might miss this gem. I can not tell you how welcome EVERYONE from the manager, Veronica, to the reservation desk attendees to the kitchen and wait staff made me feel, and the cleaning staff too. EVERYONE was very welcoming and accommodating. The water for the bath was super hot and did not go cold. The best I have ever experienced at a hotel. I was steps away from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, Orange Beach and the breakfast was AMAZING. I will definitely stay here again. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, words can not express how grateful I am to have found the Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach Beachfront Hotel in Orange Beach, Alabama. Y'all are THE BEST!!!"

"Great hotel and staff. Through over thirty years of travel for work, I have earned Lifetime Diamond status with Hilton Honors. I stay at their properties exclusively and this property was great. Outstanding location and the suite was everything we expected. Was really nice staying here during the off-season. Highly recommended."
