"The skills the Maggie Rose stylists have are exceptional. The customer service, however, is less so. I have called Maggie Rose twice, texted the number they have on their website, and one of the stylists personally trying to ask the same question that I’ve had for weeks about cost in regards to hair length (if the service would cost less if I had significantly shorter hair). I have not once received a response or a text back. I have been to Maggie Rose before and like I said they give amazing results. They just can’t seem to answer the phone..."

"As a former customer that used to attend Maggie Rose Salon, I am severely disappointed with the treatment I had received from the colorist. I had received an email saying that the salon had Thanksgiving availability, so I called to see if I could book an appointment for highlights. The woman who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. She told me that since I do not live in Miami and am only coming to visit, I could send pictures of my hair as is and the colorist would get back to me. I work in food service and have to slick my hair back with gel and a slicking brush every day. When she told me to send pictures of my hair to see the grow-out, I sent her pictures of my hair as is (the curl pattern was stretched out due to the slicking brush). I got a call back from the colorist, Josephine, and she was extremely rude. She told me that she would not accept me as a client or even go close to my head because my hair was "severely damaged". I explained to her that my hair only looked stretched out because of my work situation and I did not have time to wash it before sending the pictures. She proceeds to tell me that she can clearly see I have severely damaged hair, insinuating that I am lying about my own hair. She goes on to say I should not even be dying my hair. I asked her if she would be open to looking at pictures of my hair when it is washed, or if we can set up a Facetime call for her to look at my hair. She proceeds to tell me I need an in person consultation. When i had expressed my concerns and hesitation about driving 35 minutes to get a consultation if she already knew she was not going to take me on a client, she said "Im going to be straight up with you, I am not going to take you on a a client". You would think that since I am used to pay close to $350 for my hair, the salon would try their best to work with me. The colorist, Josephine, instead implied that I was lying when I said I had curly hair, and did not even try to make an effort to see other pictures or a Facetime call. I was extremely disappointed, as I said earlier I have been to Maggie Rose Salon before. Hair salons are supposed to be a welcoming place, instead I felt belittled and bullied. Would not recommend. I have attached a picture of my hair right when I get out of the shower and don't apply any product. I hate that it has come to this, and I feel like I have to prove to the salon that I do, indeed, have curly hair. This review serves as a warning that you might be called a liar at this salon."

"@claudialeiter I don’t have much help or curly hair support from my family (they all relax and straighten) so I’ve struggled with my curls for years! My one curly haired friend tries to help as much as she can. I always thought my hair was damaged and all that but Josephine proved me wrong ! This was my FIRST official curly cut, style, etc. Maggie Rose welcomes you by putting your name on the mirror which was SO CUTE. The first picture was my before and after. She helped neutralize my box color. I loved my hair so much I came the following week to color my hair. I wanted to do an ashy blonde. My hair color surprisingly lifted amazingly with almost to none damage. Josephine gave me a go-to guide on what products I should buy and all that ESPECIALLY olaplex to treat my hair after bleaching. My curl pattern wasn’t changed or anything. Just a few strands here and there but nothing styling couldn’t fix :) I should also mention that I live by FIU (MMC) and I drove a good 45 minutes to Maggie Rose. That’s how much I loved it. I’m so lucky I found a curly hair place. There really isn’t a lot of options for me near my house and I’ll never go to Curl Whisperer (no offense to them) I just feel like Maggie Rose understands my type of curls much better. Also I repeat, I had Josephine as my stylist and she was so sweet. And I felt so comfortable throughout the whole thing; she didn’t make me feel bad for having my type of curls or anything like that. I’m happy with my hair 100%"

"I've been to this location twice, and both times I felt at ease. I've been to a number of curly hair salons, leaving unsatisfied and broke. At Maggie Rose, I leave beautiful and leave powerful with a wealth of knowledge they give throughout the service. My stylist was Katherine. Super patient and very informative. I've done a curl shaping and color session, and really enjoyed each session with her. Any of the ladies in there are amazing and super helpful. What I also love is that the owner will walk in and you would think she was a friend of everyone. She is super easy to talk to and a ball of smiles. You feel like a celebrity by the time she's done taking pictures and all the ahhs and ooos of content from what she sees. I'm happy I found my curl home, now go make it yours!"

"They are amazing! Great place with a lot of knowledge and passion for natural hair. Best experience I’ve had in a hair salon here in United States (and I’ve been at DevalCurl salon in NYC). Regina was the one who cut my hair and washed and did the deep treatment, I highly recommend her. It was my first time and I’m definitely coming back!!!!"
