"If I could rate a 0 star I would. I NEVER write reviews, but this was beyond my expectations. Heat damage at its finest and this is why I’ve always been scared to go to a salon that is not black owned or even experts at natural hair like mine. I trusted Karla Munoz with my hair because everyone said in the reviews she was great, now I’m not even sure if their hair was even as natural as mine. I was truly scared to go in because I hadn’t had my hair straightened in a year and a half and my curls were never heat damaged, I always used to go to Dominican salons in the past but this one was the worst. I don’t know if beauticians pick and choose whose hair they want to do great on, but I know if I was a celebrity or very well known my hair would have been treated with the most respect ever, so treat every client as such! That is the whole point of having a salon. I am so disappointed and embarrassed to even think this place has their certifications up and there’s no work that backs up the certifications. I feel disrespected because my hair is what I wear everyday. My Before and After pics are down below, I can’t even have a side curl anymore smh. On top of that I gave a $10 tip…for heat damage clearly. Just be careful where you lay your head. Some people won’t treat your hair like you would treat yours. Update: I now have hair breakage and some of my hair fell out. I should have read the negative reviews first because now I’ve joined them."

"The hairdressers are very nice, especially the owner. I think they do a good job. The wait is reasonable (they only take walk-ins). The fact that you can't make a standing appointment is disappointing."

"I waited a month to write this review. To see if my hair would somehow stop breaking!!!!! I was a loyal customer for about a year or so. Anna normally the one who does my hair. Last time I went in for a color( water dye) someone else did my hair this time. A heavier shorter Hispanic lady. She was nice but I don’t know what the hell she did as for my hair goes or what technique she used. But after a day or so , my hair started falling out!!!!!!! Literally I spent years growing out my hair after my last cut , just for it to be ruined by this lady. I’m so disappointed because I really liked going there for my monthly wash and blow. I would be careful who I let color my hair if you do decide to go there. Because that’s not their craft at all!!!!! And now I have to cut what’s left of my hair and start all over !!!! And I hope the owner sees this and be thankful because I’m not as mean as I could’ve been on this review smh."

"Karla is such an amazing hairstylist and colorist. My hair was so damaged unlimited split ends, until Miss Karla brought my hair back to life with great conditioning and care. My hair color is now a healthy brown shine with the highlights that I wanted. As well as a nice cut to it. If you want great hospitality and care. Choose Miss Karla for all your essential hair care and needs."
