"Lived in Bartow for three years now and bought a home very near this pool hoping to use it often for lap swimming- only to find out it is never open. I was told it’s only open when the kids are out of school so they can have students be lifeguards. For goodness sake this is Florida! It’s a beautiful pool and should be open for use. I was also told it us in need of repair but the head of parks and rec doesn’t want to spend the money to refurbish! So sad!"
"Pretty clean, didn't like that there were no non slip mats in front of the doors in the locker rooms so my 5yr old slid on the floor when we walked in from the pool.... But it is a public swimming area so it is what it is.... I didn't like that there weren't many shaded seating options. The pool was nice and big... And not alot of people which I enjoyed so i could keep a good eye on my kids. The staff was very nice as well. I will return just wish they had shaded seating options!"
