"Boardwalks are all closed. Hiked the other side which is not marked on all trails for anybody who uses that! Not much shade on that side so bring plenty of water. Nice hike! Bathrooms and picnic tables available."

"Mosaic Peace River Park would rate a four or five star rating except the main attraction , the boardwalks are closed. Restrooms available."

"I love this park. It reminds me of old Florida before all the building and city life. There are two different areas. One is a boardwalk that leads you through to Peace River and the other is a beautiful sandy dunes with mountain like hill with sawgrass, pine trees and swamps. The sunsets are beautiful when looking atop the sandy hills as it glistens off the sawgrass. I love going here for peace and quiet as very few people go here. A great place to ponder about life or picnic. Very dog friendly but be aware there are ticks in the sawgrass. Also a wonderful place for romantic, portrait or general photography. I recommend lots of water and bug spray because some of the trails are very long. You may even encounter white horses in the model airplane spot."

"It's a beautiful park. I was there and one of the board walks was being updated so it was closed and the one that was open wasn't exactly safe or kept up with. Sad to see that Polk County could do so much better. There is a wide open field to fly RC airplanes on that you can get to with a sedan thru a peat gravel/ clay road on the Western side of park. Eastern side is paved with a parking lot and restrooms. Good for a picnic but not somewhere I'm gonna go back to spend more than a couple of hours."
