"It's really disheartening for me to say this, but I had a disappointing experience at the nail salon I've been loyal to for two years. As a realtor and a mom with a busy schedule, I went in for a basic pedicure at 5:25 pm, and it felt like they were ready to close. The lady there said they wouldn't take anyone else because their last appointment was at 5:15 pm, which seemed like she randomly picked a time. I told her I thought they closed at 6 pm, and she said they closed early that day with the last appointment at 5:15 pm. What's confusing is that their door says they close at 6 pm. I get it's Saturday and they might want to leave early, but it would be better if they just said that instead of giving bogus excuses. I even went to another nail salon that closes at 6 pm, and their customer service was on point. In my opinion, if they're closing early, they should officially close at 5:15 pm or maybe 5:30 pm. I usually come at that time and always get good service, so I'm really frustrated with this. This isn't how a business should be run."

"I called before I came in and was greeted with the on the phone with the most warmest and professional greeting. They care about their customers, their nail health and live up to their name VIP nail studio. From I stepped into the door I could feel the love and appreciation. I felt pampered as soon as I signed in. Most places let me continue on with unhealthy nails but my technician Christine should me and took of bring my nails back to health. This will now be my go to salon"

"Update! + New Photo added. I visited four maybe five times. Quality of service was inconsistent. My nails chipped terribly most times. Of the visits, two were repairs. My last and final visit I was told I need to soak off and get a new overlay otherwise my nails would continue to chip. I did. The very next day while on vacation, my nails chipped so badly I was embarrassed. I found a local shop and they advised that I soak off the VIP acrylic and get a new set. I did. That was over two weeks ago and they are still hanging on. When I returned, I called and asked for a manager. Was told they would call me back. Never heard from them. In 24 hours I spent around $200 for the same services, which includes tipping. VIP is clean and friendly but in my personal experience, the quality isn’t there. I won’t return. Original review: I stumbled upon this place after breaking up with my old shop. I came with lifting and fungus on my fingernails. I got a polish change and power fill with gel. Annie was nice and thorough. She assessed my nails and made suggestions. She was efficient and transparent with pricing. The shop is clean. I did not wait. Pricing about average for the area. I will return. I like this place."
