"I was a walk-in first time client . I asked what the charge would be for a cut. I have very short hair, non-ethnic. I am a senior on fixed income, so pricing is important to me. Ana quoted $18 which is what I usually pay at another salon I have used for years. This salon is very close to home so I decided to try it. I was told to return at 4 pm. I arrived on time, but waited about half an hour after my appointment. Not a big deal but a bit unusual in my experience. Before the cut I was asked if I wanted a wash. Normally this is included in with the cut, as is the light (short hair) blow dry. The stylist did not tell me these service would be an extra cost, or I would have declined. Ana did a great job on my cut. However the total price came to $37, not the quoted price of $18. Needless to say I had sticker shock. I must disagree with the reviewer who said the prices are acceptable for seniors on a fixed income. Maybe in NY but not here in FL. When I asked about the price difference the response was “oh”. I paid the price because I was happy with the service. I will try the salon once more, but I will be sure to omit the wash and blow . I am usually happy to recommend a business to my friends and neighbors, but cannot do so in good faith due to the arbitrary pricing policy. I have tried to find a price list, but none is available. Buyer beware!"

"The blowouts are only okay. I've had their $150 botox treatment about 6 months ago and thought it tamed my hair well. But each time I go, another stylist is doing my roller set and flat iron and the results or only okay. Deep conditioner, roller set and flat iron was $57! I've paid $40 up the road with better results. I'm not saying they're bad, but they're expensive. Which is probably why they're always empty when I'm there. They have a braider too but simple box braids start at $150!"
