Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

"Went here yesterday and someone named Rae Lynn or Ray Ann with blue and purple in her hair. Totally botched up my experience. I was there for 5 hours for a color and highlights package. The color part went okay but she didn't separately do the highlights like I have always known to happen this way but Instead did highlights on my hair after the complete color portion had been done and the color was dark brown and the highlights are Carmel color but instead the highlights came out bright orange Then she brings me a mirror and asks what do they think, I said this is not what I wanted how do we fix this? She goes and gets another lady with long completely back hair and she goes on to completely patronized me saying it messed up because I used box color and it could be medication I am on and even went as far as to blame the weather. Now I have been coming to Fantastic Sam's for years and have been on the exact same meds and used box color off and on and NEVER had anything remotely close to my experience yesterday happen.Then I ask this other girl with completely black hair so what can be done now and she says we can tone it to a color close to what you want and I get doused in toner. I was so upset I didn't even get a haircut or bangs trimmed like I wanted and ended up having to pay for everything including the highlights and toner. I REALLY want to talk to a manager about this. I was there from 9-2."

"This used to be my favorite location. They used to have great stylists. Be aware that their online booking systems is misleading. The prices are not accurate. I was quoted $35 for a blow dry for my 11-year-old daughter and when I arrived, the price went to $70. Stylist said that it would take her 2 plus hours to do my daughter long wavy hair. I ended up doing her hair at home with my cheap brush, blow dryer and flat iron. It took me 30 minutes to do shampoo, dry and flat iron. I am not a stylist and never been trained. So, imagine a professional doing it. It shouldn't take 2 hours. They are charging "extra" for absurd things. It does not make any sense. I understand times are hard and people need money but there is a difference between wanting extra money and "tricking" customers. Also, the vibe and attitude were horrible. We did not feel welcome at all. Breaks my heart but not coming back."
