"I went in, 63 years old, hoping to be updated on the newest trends and products. I was handed off to a very nice, very young girl who had dyed black hair and a nose ring. She was told to take me to (their most expensive products) Clinique. There, the super nice girl attempted to sell me every kind of moisturizer to "blur" my unhealthy & wrinkled skin. I asked about several makeup routines. And, as always with older consumers, I left with an expensive bag of things that my 30ish daughter will either use or return."
"Not a pleasant shopping experience at all. Walked in to find some new makeup, but not one employee spoke. Three employees were giving each other makeovers today(12/31/23). Literally the entire time I was in the store(at least 30 minutes, check the cameras if you don’t believe me). I would look around to find help and the only other employee walking around would put her head down and walk away super fast as to not make eye contact with any of the customers. Once the other 3 were done with their makeup sesh they finally started to somewhat help customers. One person on the register and I don’t even think she spoke the entire time I was checking out. The manager should be ashamed honestly!"
"My cashier Ripley was amazing, and was super sweet. I unfortunately had to bring my kids in, I am on my own. Ripley was very kind. However the other cashier that was there (long hair) could learn to smile and not be so rude. Going in Ulta is always so stressful."
