"I've been using Windermere Pool Services for over 3 years and have been extremely happy with them over the years, especially with the initial tech Scott and Jeremy. I am reluctantly leaving them as a customer due to a couple of recent repair incidents which i don't believe was handled fairly. The initial incident involved the automated valve that switches the flow to the Spa, it had just stopped working. I called the team within a couple of days a tech came to the house and checked it out. When i articulated the problem to him, without looking at it he said he was certain the problem was a small toggle on the valve itself that could have been switched off by a Gecko jumping on it. I suggested that only Windermere Pool services guys have been working on the pool equipment for last couple of years , changing a pump and valves, filter tear downs etc. He showed me the issue toggled the switch on and said I'm very sorry but we have to charge you $100-$150 for that. I reluctantly paid their invoice but of the opinion after years of service that a phone call may have allowed me to resolve this myself without charges, especially considering the amount of work they had completed over the past few months. It is quite reasonable to assume their tech may have toggled this off in the first place. After a recent visit by their tech to clean the pool, he had left the main drain cover out by the edge of the pool. I assumed he had knocked it loose with the pool floor cleaner but no. A few days later i received a quote of $300+ dollars to repair. This left a bad taste with me and after years of great service, 2 recent unsavoury incidents have led me to cancel our services. "Very polite staff. That being said - their tech left to pool valves in the wrong place and almost burned out the pump. They left the cover to the pool pump loose and leaking. When asked why they are not scrubbing the pool to prevent algae, they informed me they only scrub tile. Finally when I asked for a list of services they provide - they let me know "that they are not the pool company for us". That is after 3 years as a customer. So now I am updating my review as now I have been accused of "swearing" and "grabbing equipment out of their hand". This is a lie. At NO time did I swear. And the ONLY persion I talked to was the supervisor that day - so it would be impossible to swear or take equipment from their "tech". I was not even in town when the tech serviced the pool. |Finally, when I was told by the manager who came to my home they were no longer going o provide service - I asked them to leave and he handed me the equipment back. They tried to remedy nothing. The ultimate response, they refunded only 20% of my money we paid in advance for doing less than a half of month of service and nearly wrecking my pool equipment."

"First off, I will say they keep the pool water clear regularly! But unfortunately I was at home on a day when the pool service showed up. I was surprised for it was a day when Hurricane Idalia was coming to an end, that they were even here. I noticed their truck in the yard and was happy to see the pool would be getting serviced. However, a short time later I noticed the truck gone. I figured they must have left due to some rain. But I noticed one of their service cards on the patio table stating the pool was serviced, to include filter being cleaned and baskets checked to name a few. I noticed the pump was bubbling profusely and to my dismay, the skimmer was filled with leaves and the service was never done! There are still leaves at the bottom of the Pool!! The filter was never cleaned as indicated and I don't think chemicals were added. Security cameras don't lie. I have also attached photos taken within an hour after they left. I don't like to take the time to post bad reviews, but when I called the office, the man I spoke with was not at all apologetic and tried to blame it on the weather offering no other assistance. Very unprofessional and Unacceptable, Hence why I feel this review in order. Maybe they will do the right thing and send someone out within 24 hours to rectify the situation. We shall see... 1 Day Later..I'm not going to ramble on incessantly here. Fact is, All of the services listed on their card were Not performed. That is flat out dishonesty. It is not just a matter of leaves at the bottom of the pool, but a basket filled with leaves that could have burned up the pump due to all of the air being sucked in to the system which was evident from the Large bubbles coming from one of the main jets. There was no attempt the following day to rectify the situation allowing me to have a change of heart regarding my review."
