Tropical Smoothie Cafe

"#update 11/18/23 decided to give this location another shot. Girl at register walked up to register on cell phone. When we were done with our order..she went right back on her call. Never asked for name for order. Tables not gross, but not particularly clean. Smoothies ok. This is the location closest to our home. I will no longer go to this one. The interior is always dirty, the employees are rude and visibly unhappy to be at the location. The management, if you see them, are not nice either. The smoothies are watery and if you say something, the employees could care less. If you want a better experience, I recommend going to the TSC over off US 1 & Monterey."

"Esmeralda didn’t say a single word while taking my order even when the machine automatically asks for a tip and I say thank you I get zero response. Sat waiting for my smoother for 20 minutes as it was just sitting there while no one could even bother to say that my order was ready. Horrible customer service."

"Waited for 20 min on my food and I didn’t get my food , I didn’t hear anyone calling out my order, i finally got up and asked the cashier for a refund and they wouldn’t comply started to argue with me, had a customer name call me and made me more upset, waited until manager told his employees to go ahead and give my refund or remake my order i took my refund, I didn’t want to take a chance someone spitting in my food or kid. I’m deaf of hearing and my first time at this place."

"Man I always love to come here on any day. I only wish their smoothies were cheaper so I could get them every day. I can't say anything other than I love the smoothies here and wouldn't go anywhere else for it."

"Ive tried avoiding writing this review because the quality of the smoothies and sandwiches are amazing here. However the last 4 times in the past 2 months that I have been here, customer service is very poor. This location seems to be run by High School teenagers and has just become a local hangout. Due to this, customers walking in the door take a backseat. Specifically 2 weeks ago I stood at the counter for 5 minutes while an employee was siting in the booth with their friends and completely ignoring me while the 1 girl still behind the counter was in the back and not coming out. Today they were talking to their friends at the counter about personal things while I was standing there waiting to be acknowledged. The owner should invest in some cameras to monitor the staff before they loose out on business due to customer service."
