Southshore Bay Lagoon

"Went for the day. We had a deal that provided splash pass with admission. We also got family aquabana. The aquabana provided complimentary water and concierge. She was very attentive and ordered food and drinks had 22% gratuity included which covered the concierge. Activities were fun including paddle board and kayak. Only one slide. Obstacle course was pretty strenuous but great for kids. Our area was private and kids could just jump into the water from aquabana. Reservation also included two sun chairs. Check days for pricing. Don’t forget sunscreen."

"Gave only 4 stars due to disorganization of the premium area, families that didn’t purchase (we know they didn’t purchase because you could hear them talking about it) floating cabanas and were using them. People from other areas coming into premium, why pay $175 for a cabana when I can just pay general admission and then claim it. Other than that, the staff is great, food is great, park is beautiful, lots of family fun. Entry fees a bit excessive."

"We had a wonderful time. You absolutely MUST buy tickets BEFORE going because they only fill to a designated capacity and frequently sell out. The staff was great. Wish they had more gluten free options, other than that, there are a good amount of food and drink options."

"Booked a day for 3 adults, spent just shy of $300 for 3 day passes with the add on for the activities and 3 lounge chairs in the VIP section. We arrived early and the place was clean and not crowded. The VIP section has a small pool sort of far from the activities. There is a bar but we didn’t have any service at our seats as it was advertised. The water was a good temp, and appeared spotless. After an hour or so we did the obstacle course and had a good time. You get 40 Minutes. Later we did the kayaks and paddle boards, that is an unorganized mess. There aren’t many in working order, the life jackets are all over the ground. The kayak sunk, as it was filled with water all the way at the far end of the lagoon. There was no one around to assist. Thankfully we could swim and we just got out and left the kayak. We then realized we were all covered in a yellow film on our skin and fingernails. I asked an employee why we turned yellow and they had no idea. But, if you look closely, there is a yellow hue around the bottoms of the inflatables and around the edge of the pool. I’m guessing it’s the top secret chemical used to clean the pool. Food is gross and overpriced, we left and ate at Publix. There is no system to pay for drinks it seems. Twice I was asked for my last name and gave it. At the end of the day I went to settle the bill and they were like, “do we have your card?” I said no, I’ve been giving my name??? And there was no record, so free drinks it was. They seemed to pour a ton of tequila into a margarita but it tasted like zero. Maybe it’s water in the bottle. If you have small kids, I don’t recommend this place if they aren’t strong swimmers. It’s full sun, no shade in the water and seemingly few lifeguards."

"I really don't understand the negative reviews about rude workers and security personnel. This place is super clean and really well run. Security was actually very nice, as were the Bar tenders and life guards. The bar tender actually gave my kids shirley temples on the house :) Our family had so much fun here. We will definitely be returning."
