"A jar of pasta sauce was broken on the floor but with just one employee in the store he wouldn't leave the register so I chose to clean it up. Not only was it a slip-and-fall hazard, but it offered the potential for someone to incur a serious cut. At the checkout, he charged three items to my VISA card when all I bought was one book. Not permitted to have an overing or use the "item void" button, he instead offered me a refund of $2.40 in cash. Except at $1.25 per item, with 6.5% sales tax the refund should have been $2.66. It was altogether an irksome experience."
