"Took my wife for a romantic horse drawn carriage ride at sunset for her birthday. Beautiful property and the carriage driver was so nice and informative. If you time it right, you can watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom in the marina next to the carriage stop. Loved it!!!"

"Recently went to Disney over the Veteran’s Day weekend. We stayed at a small cabin in Fort Wilderness and I’m happy I took the chance on the cabin instead of a regular hotel room. The cabins are nicely appointed with a rustic feel. There is a full kitchen with a full sized refrigerator in the cabin. There’s a Walmart Super Center about 3 miles away to stock up. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a stack bunk bed. The bedroom has a door that accesses directly outside. The couch in the living room folds out to a queen bed as well. There is room to park a full sized SUV and a golf cart on the pad in from of the cabins. There’s a charcoal grill at each cabin and a metal picnic bench on a elevated deck outside of the front door and bedroom door. I’ve stayed at other Disney properties in the past, but this will be my go to resort going forward. Highly recommended."
