"Would love to give a 5 star review but their customer service lacks. I canceled my membership in October because my husband needed hernia surgery. I was told no problem, don't use it and we will refund you. Now I've been denied a refund after paying for an entire month I was told not to use it. My husband missed a ton of work and we really needed that money. Sad that a huge company who includes the word CHRISTIAN in their title can't deliver on a promised refund after telling me over and over just don't use it. They will see you didn't and refund your money. I grew up at the Y I expected better. I tell everyone about our poor experience. Still waiting on my 80 bucks."

"Great selection of classes & great instructors! I can usually get a class to fit into my schedule at one of two nearby locations, nearly every day of the week if I want. Enough variety to keep me coming back, and vary my fitness routine, for a well-balanced workout habit. I especially like that there is an excellent massage therapist available at this location, at a reasonable price. The gym itself is clean and pleasant, and well equipped."

"First and foremost, a special thanks to Mike and Carmen for their hospitality and warm welcome to the facility! My wife and I were able to visit the Y and were impressed with the location's size, class offerings, and amenities. We were visiting from out of town but we felt like members based on everyone's kindness toward us. We highly recommend this YMCA to anyone and look forward to the opportunity to visit again soon! "The people! What I like best, so far, is the staff!!! Kari, Kathy O', Ginny, etc....plus the youngsters at the front desk! Sadly I have not joined a class or activity yet thus far, but I have met some of your instructors-all are lovely and kind! I have not been able (or very motivated) to schedule my 'smart start' appointment, at NO fault of the YMCA, your staff has been very kind & supportive, plus helpful!! This is my 2nd go at being part of the Greater Palm Harbor Y and I see a much more organized, proactive (in reaching out to me), and professional group of folks. I am impressed & excited to be a bigger part of it & participate in my health and self-care. Now I just have to tackle my mastery of procrastination! :)"

"There are so many good things to say about the YMCA as a whole. Most of the ones I have been to offer the member interactions with a blend of cultures. But, this YMCA appears to be not as diversified by location. Yet, the warmth and the joy can be found, even when the atmosphere is more professional and cordial. This branch has one outdoor pool. A high-end work out room. A indoor discovery zone styled workout room for the children (normal offerings). Group exercise rooms for spinning and high impact classes. All things considered, this branch is most fascinating for its family offering in the women's restroom. The service area comes complete with a diaper station, a toddler/child's sink (in height) and a split seat porcelain commode approximately base board level to the floor."
