"I recently took my work shoes to Midway Shoes Repair to have a nonslip sole put in. Initially, I was promised a one-week turnaround, but unfortunately, the service took three weeks to complete. What added to my frustration was the lack of communication about the delay. I made an unnecessary trip to the store, only to discover that my shoes weren't ready. In the end, I had to buy a second pair of shoes for work while waiting. Surprisingly, the second pair is functioning perfectly fine. However, when I finally received my original pair back from Midway Shoes Repair, I waited five months to wear them, only to realize that the nonslip sole hadn't been properly installed. Hoping to resolve the issue, I reached out to Midway Shoes Repair twice. Unfortunately, the receptionist's response was less than helpful. I was told that there was nothing they could do, and the call was abruptly ended. I called back and no one picked up. This entire experience has left me disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided by Midway Shoes Repair. Not only was the promised timeline not met, but the quality of the work was also subpar. The lack of customer service and follow-up has only added to my frustration. As a customer, I believe it's important to be treated with respect and professionalism, even when things don't go as planned. I hope Midway Shoes Repair takes this feedback into consideration and improves its communication, quality of work, and customer service moving forward."

"I was happy that they were able to fit me in to help me by fixing my husband's favorite shoes before Christmas that had some holes around the toe area. That is the only good thing that came from this company. The stitches look horrible. I feel as if they didn't even try to make them look nice. They only look a little better than they did because I came home and had to use a fabric marker to fix the fabric and some siccors to fix the hanging threads. The holes still look like they are there. The stitches are way off on the left shoe. I wish I would have taken them to a different company and now it is to late Christmas is 2 days away. Save your money go to another company that actually care about what the finished product looks like. This is not worth a $37 fix."
