"This place is great, I’ve read a lot of reviews about people saying their dog ain’t aggressive, but try to bite. It’s very reasonable that your dog would do that to a stranger, especially if it’s your first time there, so I’m not sure about the bad reviews on that. Another one was about dogs being caged, I don’t know how else they’d be dry AND clean when running around wet still.. and if your dog acts up in the cage and you don’t like that, clean them yourself and have them run around at your home. But I gave these guys a chance and never had any issues, I let them know that my dog may be aggressive because it was her first time but they still got the job done and my baby was happy when I picked her up :)"

"We take all three dogs to Barbara's and they love going there. They can't wait to go get their baths. They have a play area for the dogs to wait for their owners to pick them up after their bath. Samantha is our groomer and we have had many people comment on how well our dogs are groomed."

"These folks were pretty decent the first few appointments. It was easy to schedule and they gave my pup a good cut. However, my last 2 visits weren’t so great. On the second to last visit, they called my dog a “little shit” because they claimed he wouldn’t let them cut the hair around his face. I just dismissed the comment and kept going. My final visit was the last straw for us. My husband went to pick up and when he arrived one of the groomers came from the back and said “next time, let me know that your dog will bite me when I try to touch his ears” and walked away. That person didn’t give my husband a chance to speak or comment so he just walked away as well. Keep in mind, my dog had been there about 3-4 times before and we never received claims of him biting. And even before the “little shit” comment, he had been there before as well and they had positive things to say bout him. My little guy isn’t bad. When my husband told me what happened on that final visit, I checked my pups ears and sure enough I found dry blood near the edge of his ear. So more than likely, the groomer snipped him and therefore was defensive anytime they tried touching his ears again. He doesn’t bite and isn’t viscous. For my pups sake, I won’t take him back. They were good folks in the beginning but then just went down hill."

"I've never been dissatisfied. When no one else could trim my previous dog's nails or hair because of his anxiety...Barbara's was able to groom him with no trouble. He was fine. As a matter of fact when I picked him up, he was happy, looked so good, and smelled great. So, I take my current dog there. He always looks great and is fine when I pick him up. Yes, it's a few hours based on their work load. But that's okay."
