"We went to this place a Saturday night. It is located in a shopping center like almost everything in doral is, so there is plenty of parking available. The place is small, the food was good and the service was average. We ordered dates and arancini as appetizers the portions were small but they tasted good. Then we had parpadelle and fiocchetti di pera & gorgonzola as entrees which were good as well. Then we had “la bola” as dessert which was good but it had a strong flavor to liquor that I did not like too much. The service was average, the waiter was nice but he did not check on us after serving the food to see if everything was ok or we needed anything. The price was average, it is not a cheap place to have dinner, we ended up spending around $160 for 1 sparkling water, 2 appetizers, 2 pastas and one dessert. In conclusion, you can go and try this place, the food is going to be good but nothing wow and it is not going to be an affordable meal. Almost forgot to mention that they have live music on Saturday nights, it was a Saxo with playback of pop hits. The live music was a nice plus."
"Marfil bistró Is the epitome of good dining without breaking the bank. The service was exceptional. Veronica, our waiter, had extraordinary customer service and went out of her way to mention the best platters. Everything was delicious. The goat cheese croquette had a sublime mix of sweet and sour. The octopus platter was just delightful…however nothing compared to the porterhouse. It was cooked to perfection, showcased the flavors of the steak. Each side of the porterhouse cooked just right. I am glad Veronica recommended it. It was truly amazing. To top it off, i celebrated my birthday with La bola desert. Amazing. I’ll be coming back here very often."
