"DW/CG visited the newest restaurant in Plant City, Greek Treat. We had been to the location several times in the past when it was a taco joint. Now that it has changed hands, we were surprised to see how nicely it was remodeled. The latest rendition is new and clean and fresh. The menu has the basic set of Greek-ish choices, ranging from gyros to bowls to wraps to "platters." The platter is basically a deconstructed gyro. This is what DW chose from the menu. CG chose the Southwestern bowl. As you'll see in the photos, both the platter and the bowl look fresh and appealing. The portions are not huge and the complexity is pretty simple. But the ingredients are tasty and fresh. The meats were done just right and were delicious. The pitas and the baklava were also quite good. One problem with service -- the two entrees were not brought out at the same time. The bowl arrived first, and then another 5-1 0 minutes before the platter was brought out. This made things a bit awkward. We also found the French fries to be cold and the portion was rather small. The staff was welcoming and friendly, so we figure they just need some experience to get the right groove. The platter could use a salad or at least salad-like ingredients. We're looking forward to returning here soon. It's a unique taste for Plant City."
