"Our waitress was awful. Never brought our guest's water or cup of ice, both my husband and I had to go to the bar to ask before the man behind the bar brought it. I had the Cobb salad and there was hardly any chicken, what was there was tiny dry cubes and barely any bacon. Very disappointed. My husband and our guest had prime rib and that was good. We had our 5 year old with us and were not offered anything like a crayon or her food out early. Our bill was just over $100. We will not go back."

"I was anxious to try DeLand Social (new restaurant down the street) however, it was closed because of a family emergency when we arrived. Sparrow's Grille was a nice surprise to the last minute plan changes. There is plenty of parking. The entrance is handicap accessible along with the interior of the restaurant. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken. The menu is two-sided. Perhaps I missed it but I did not see where one side was for lunch only and the other side for dinner only. I tried to order from the entree section and was told that I could only order from the other side of the menu. Both sides of the menu have plenty of options to choose from including vegetarian items. The food came out quickly, looked beautiful, and tasted great. I wasn't quite ready for the experience to be over yet so we decided to order dessert. We ordered the key lime pie which was beautifully presented. It came out on a homemade whipped cream type base that was phenomenal. Just dipping the strawberries in there would have been a perfect dessert. The key lime pie itself was very well done. The restaurant itself is clean, organized, and has a very nice vibe with large windows that overlook the golf course. I would definitely go back. Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vibe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
