La Belle Motel

"The town LaBelle is very cute and this is about your only option. I think the 30 minute drive to Fort Myers is worth it. It was set up weirdly the bathroom door wouldn't open much because the bed was in the way, it was dirty and had roaches. They had an old towel keeping the shower curtain up."

"One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Right next to a noisy road. Very loud fridge we had to unplug. Rust on basically everything with metal. NOT WORTH $120 plus tax per night. The fan in the bathroom smelled like something was burning. No smoke detector. No interior locks on doors. No working ice machine either. Exposed wiring. Holes in wall. No body wash or shampoo products. No tissues. Not even a toilet paper holder."

"Very rude staff. Door was broken from first day. Asked to change rooms and they never did, I was here damn near two weeks. The toilet leaked so bad I had to keep towels around it but they had problems giving me extra towels. Will not be coming back"

"No cable, hell the TV didn’t work. Front desk said “tough luck, cable company fault. The motel wasn’t full by any stretch. Traveling alone as a young woman CAN cause anxiety. I asked to PLEASE move closer to front office and was told no. I got stuck in one of three DESOLATE buildings. Both rooms on either side were packed with 8-10 people. I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable and was completely unable to sleep. I used to stay there often…NEVER again, it feels extremely dangerous now with shady clients."

"The people are very nice and I enjoyed my stay! Edit-Our first stay had been good, but after our past stay my review has changed to 1 or 2 stars. Our room was terrible. There was a smell of smoke in the room at times, the toilet seat was broken, the shower was absolutely disgusting, and the floors were terrible too. Walking along the floor dry or wet feet, you could feel the dirt as you walked. The shower was only "clean" where the water had washed away the grime. The part where water did not reach was covered with a slimy looking substance. The shower curtain rod wasn't secure because it fell down at least once with the least bit of pull on it. When they came in the rooms to do cleaning and such, they didn't make the beds but once and unless I'm mistaken, they left our same towels most every time. The pillows were rather hard and stayed hard. The door locked us out for a time and I had to beat in the door until I was aggravated and hit it rather hard and the door registered it was closed or reset or something. There were buzzards in the in the dumpster. There were shopping carts, beer cans/bottles/caps, and other trashes left in the yard and the parking area. The lawn was poorly kept. There were no irons mentioning boards. I don't recommend this motel."
