Comfort Motel

"I had the very fortunate experience of staying at the Comfort Motel for an extended stay. i found this Motor Hotel gem through a recommendation and upon arriving met Maya the manager of the property. She was so kind and welcoming and showed me a selection of rooms available. This is a classic original no frills motel by the water lodging. The rooms are clean comfortable and affordable. I felt completely safe during my entire visit and was within a 25 -30 minute drive from beaches and two major cities. There are adjacent stores including a gas station and a dollar general that are a minutes walk. Anything you need will be taken care of with kindness and warmth. I happened to be there for Thanksgiving and even received a dinner of my own! You literally cannot beat the price in the area and they have done so much to beautify the motel and the rooms. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a safe affordable spot to have adventures from or if you need to stay long term on a budget. They will treat you like you are family there and I absolutely loved it. I WILL be back whenever I need a place to stay in Ruskin/ Apollo Beach area!"

"Comfort motel is a safe and clean motel at an affordable rate. The rooms are cozy and clean with that motor lodge feel that used to be so prevalent in Florida. It is located very close to the nicest beaches in the US and also Tampa without the traffic and crime. The managers are the nicest people you will meet and have worked extremely hard to make this motel a peaceful and welcoming environment. Safe secure clean cozy and peaceful you will not regret staying and neither will your wallet. I was made to feel like this was my home and I will be back in the future! We miss y’all already Maya and DK and look forward to staying the next time!"

"Comfort Motel is a cozy, clean, and comfortable old-fashioned Florida motor hotel. It is under New Management and all the people and staff are warm and welcoming to everyone who comes. It has a cute little butterfly garden/picnic area out front with a grill, and world-class fishing and boating are available right down the street at Cockroach Bay. What a great place for fishermen to stay (plenty of parking for the boat). Craftsmen, contractors, tradesmen, artists, photographers, writers, families, anyone and everyone will find this place safe and peaceful. Come for the wildlife, stay for the experience. There's a convenience store right next door and just north of here is a quaint old drive-in movie where they make their own food (Ruskin Family Drive-In). The manatee sighting area is just minutes away as are lots of wonderful restaurants. Try the Hot Tomato on College Ave. for old-school hot tomato pie, a delicious Ruskin classic. Comfort Motel is a no-frills motel with matching cost so bring your toiletries and enjoy your stay in authentic Florida motor hotel style. I liked it so much I stayed long-term."
