"There is no better place to stay in greater St. Pete if you want to stay on the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels come in very handy! Clean rooms and cottages. Sandra and her staff are the best."

"By far one of my most favorite stays on the west coast! Adorable retro theme, clean and spacious rooms, right across from the beach, and so many fun games and activities to choose from. We stayed in the Lookout suite and it was lovely!! Everything you could want in a beach vacation, you’ll find right here!"

"This motel is an amazing place to stay for vacation! Here are some of the things I would highlight about this place: -Spacious: Stayed in the captain that had two queen beds, a kitchen and a living room (3 people stayed and had no issues) -Clean: Everything in the motel room and the motel itself was very clean. Beds were comfy and the shower pressure was good with hot water (can't under sell the importance of a good shower) -Location: Very quiet part of Sunset beach. Some people may want to be in a lively part of the beach so this is subjective. We loved that we were 20 steps from the beach and it was secluded once we were at the beach. -Entertainment: Lots to do within 5-15 mins drive. Great food and entertainment around the area. Also, wanted to include that the place has a ping pong table, life size connect 4 and multiple other games that we had a blast with. -Service: The people that worked at the front desk were very nice! Attentive to all of our needs and also helped us with suggestions to places in the area. I also wanted to list a couple of improvements for this motel. It doesn't make the place any less desirable but just things we thought about when we were staying: -The place was very humid. Even though we weren't in the peak season the place was really humid. It would be good to have a dehumidifier in the motel to eliminate the humidity. -The bathroom had no fan to take care of the steam. A shower combined with the humidity of the whole place made it very damp haha. Overall, this place was a great find and reasonable in price for a 3 night stay. If you are thinking about getting away choose this place as the destination. I would recommend this motel to anyone!"

"We just got home from staying here for 4 days and 3 nights. Everything was perfect. The room was very cool with the retro vibe. Loved that it was right across from the beach. We could not of asked for a better getaway! We will definitely be back. ❤️"

"We stayed at the Sunset Inn for one night just as a quick weelend getaway. The rooms are super cute with a retro style theme. Nice size rooms, comfortable bed, has a refrigerator, microwave, TV and keurig coffee maker. It's also at a great location that's right across the street from the beach and Sunset Pavillion. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time!"
