"The best thing this place has going for it is location and decent rates. Everything on the outside looks nice but the inside is very basic and subpar. Pros: - Good Location (7 mins from Blue Springs State Park, 20 mins from DeLand. Close to parks. - Decent Rates ($96-120ish) - Nice landscape/clean outside facility - Outside Pool. - Pet friendly ($15 charge) Cons: - Breakfast is minimal, I mean very minmal. Pre-packaged pancakes, milk, yogurt, oatmeal, off brand captain crunch cereal and juice. - Microwave in our room ( room 214) had 1 function that worked - the reheat button. The clock didn't work at all. The amenities/lights/outlets basic. - the beds are ok - not the most comfortable. - I think our bed was pre-slept in. It had a hair in it and the sheets were wrinkly. - No maid service when the sign was left off the door (indicating we wanted service). - Limitation of how many towels you can have. - VERY small bathroom. I realize it's a Days Inn and was expecting a little lower quality but not THAT low of quality. Get what you pay for I guess."

"*PLEASE READ* Whatever you do don’t touch this place if you out of state. We rent a room for 3 nights, we are from New york and came to move to florida. The room was somewhat decent with the exception of very filthy chairs, started itching on contact. First night a roach came through the door, but i tolerated it because it was late and gave them another chance. Early morning the noise was awful, we stayed at 228, and next room it seems someone whos an alcoholic lives next door with his kids. First 2 nights they stopped the noiseat 11, but the last night, noise went on for all night. The place looked sketchy so i brought my hammer with me for defense since i dont have a fire arm and i had bought sugar and baking soda cause if you mix them with mashed potatoes you can kill rats. Previous windham hotel i stayed had rats in them, and they have the audacity of charging 100 dollars a night. I have my entire family in that room including an infant and we are extremely quiet cause we know how to stay in hotels. The last morning i tried my best to pick everything else with the exception of the baking soda the hammer and some soda bottles that were left. Every garbage was put in self bought garbage bags and left the garbage on top of the small garbage can near the table. Later today i find out theres 100 dollar charge on my card. I come to the hotel, in hopes to resolve the issue and they blamed us for a broken toilet. I picked up my hammer(thankfully) and was told that if i had a complain to talk to the manager who would be there tomorrow at 12. After reading 100s of similar reviews with the problems stated above, i better get not only the extra hundred they charged and im going tomorrow for a manager talk and im seriously thinking of asking for a full refund. Not only they accused me of cooking crack in the room but im pretty sure this isnt the first time they tried to scam out of stateys Not only they accused us, but the handler later apologized because “his workers did not tell him that the toiletwas like that prior to us staying. If i dont get my deposit and those 100 dollars they took i will escalate the situation with the triple b. I usually never leave a review like this but im warning all future bookers this place is not it. Its sketchy and im gonna go tomorrow like i was Told to resolve this issue."

"We were in town for a little while for a business trip and the Days Inn was a centrally located hotel which suited all of our needs. Close to grocery stores and a multitude of restaurants and delivery service as well.VJ checked us in and was absolutely great and even helped us with our linen exchange at the end of the week when we came back at night time along with fresh towels since we declined the housekeeping service. VJ worked at night so it was great to see him walking the property and engaging with the other guests. Jose was amazing with local restaurant suggestions along with breakfast with a smile and always had a great disposition every time we came back or left and always asked how our day went and was genuinely nice and helpful with anything we needed. Jerry was fantastic when he would see us with our dog he would always offer to take the trash from us and see if everything was good with our room and if we needed anything. The housekeepers were very tentative as well, they all worked diligently to get the rooms ready for the next guest and if we needed anything they would immediately get it for us from towel exchange to toilet paper and everything in between. The room was perfect for what we needed, it had a workspace along with a separate table for two with a microwave and mini fridge along with a dresser with two side tables as well. We stayed in a king room which was very comfortable and very roomy. We also liked how well lit the property was along with all the cameras, I felt very safe. The property in a whole is very well maintained which is absolutely refreshing to see. You can tell the owners take great pride with this property and it definitely shows. Thank you again Jose, VJ, Jerry and the whole staff at the Days Inn for a great stay for such a great price especially with breakfast and pet friendly!!! We will definitely be back."

"I had a wonderful experience at the Days Inn Orange City location. I have stayed at dozens of hotels and this was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. VJ the evening front desk staff provided excellent customer service! VJ went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting. Thanks VJ, because of you I'm going to tell all my friends and family to stay here when they're in town."
