"I've been trying to get a hold of Axis Behavioral for a week and a half. They obviously do not care about their patients and it shows. I got ZERO call backs after leaving several messages."

"If you actually want some help, this is not the place I would go. While my first experience was great (scheduling my appointment) the day of my appointment was not. I received a call the day before stating my insurance had dropped (Medicaid). She asked if I wanted to call them, mind you it is 5 o’clock so I couldn’t. I asked how much the self pay was and she said $250 and I said okay. Go in for my appointment the next day and they had given my slot to someone else. The lady at the desk was less than polite, acted like I was a bother and showed zero compassion for someone who works at a mental health facility , and I was told I could MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT because of their incompetence. The insurance was absolutely not any of the staffs fault, but the cancellation of my appointment was. I would never recommend anyone to go here simply because of how the issue was handled and the attitude of the woman at the front desk. It was the worst experience I have ever had at any medical facility."
