Rodeway Inn Clearwater-Largo

"Be aware this motel is next to strip club. The motel may look nice outside but not clean in the inside. We only stayed 2 days. Good luck getting your deposit back we been trying and they will give you the runaround. Not worth the stay, if you can spare $20 bucks more look towards the other side of US19 or more towards Largo. NOTE!! On one side of the building (side by side to night club) is the motel side. On the other side of the building looks like rent to low income families. Be aware as you leave the building. I only gave it a two because of the access to US19."

"DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!! (All the 5 stars are from people living there) me and my wife stayed there because basically we had no choice for last Minute stay, HUGE HUGE mistake, There was a huge hole in the wall of our room for one. Then our room was constantly moist and cold from a leak in the lines. The add says they take Apple Pay and nope. VICTOR made us pay cash all the time, and when you get your choice rewards built up fora free night MADE us pay early check in fees even though we are extended our stay and not checking out. Over charged us plenty of times for that even though choice rewards said they should NOT be doing that because we weren’t checking out they just extended our stay. Then our room had NO heat for the cold nights so they gave a heater to plug in that kept blowing a breaker in our room, and when I called to night manager BOB was getting mad and yelled at me and blamed us, even called my room at 5 am and again at 5:30am demanding that I fix the problem with the breaker box. Remind you I DO NOT work there. Maintenance would pound on our door 7:00 am to paint our exterior door when we are sleeping and when I ask to come back VICTOR would bang on our day and say you let him paint this door now and walk off. Trash all over the property, kids running around pounding on the doors or looking in your room and asking for food or sodas. Then the worst of it all…….. I informed them of the BLACK MOLD growing all Around our room. I said i have stage 3 lung cancer I cannot be around that we need to move rooms, and they refused To move us rooms and yet again blamed us for the black mold. We had to get tested for this because it was making us sick . and sure enough tested positive for black mold on our systems. So (DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU IM ROOM 202 ) and so we checked out and VICTOR charged my mother laws card 95.00 when we where already checked out .and then when I call the office they said they would reimburse us the stay we never heard back . but hey that’s ok my ATTORNEY is already on it !!!"

"I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We arrived today 10pm with children. As soon as we open the door of our room smell of cigarettes, dirt, carpets were stained and dirty.Kids started to cough. We kindly asked to be moved to another room. Front desk guy said if I don't want the room we can leave! We checked out a second later. What a joke!!! This place needs serious health inspection and hopefully closes down."

"Absolutely abysmal. It was a cold, wet, 60°F day. The heater didn't work, front desk lied about having a repair man out the next morning, had to chase down a request for a single blanket, the light in the room (yep just one) flickered constantly, and to top it all off, I slipped and fell on the stairs. When I told front desk, I was told I should've been more careful and was asked to leave and threatened with having cops called on me for trespassing. I prepaid for the room! They were still holding my $20 deposit they billed for who knows why. The bed had stains, but no current "activity". I flagged down a cop on my way out and they are quite familiar with the place, and hate being dispatched. I don't know who I'm more disappointed with, Roadway Inn carrying on like they do, or the law for allowing it to continue."

"Customer service was fantastic very friendly, housekeeping was very good too and polite. I stayed 5 nights and I am completely happy with my stay. My only complaint was there wasn't a coffee maker in the room. I will definitely be using this hotel when I need to stay in the area for work again."
