"Was alright. But our room was almost rundown. Same furniture from opening in '95? No ice maker, or ice trays. 2 patio chairs broke on us and were removed. No replacements. Dishwasher wouldn't work. Hot water was 185 degrees (scalding). Patio light not working. Outlets wore out, not holding plug. Kitchen faucet dripping. Other than that, perfect"

"We've been staying at the Phoenix Complex there 1-5 for years. We have never left a complaint. This year we stayed in 4037 #3 Phoenix. Had to wait when we got there at 3:30 because it was being cleaned. When we finally got checked in and unpacked. We settled on the couch to watch TV. We noticed a foul odor but it was tolerable. Tuesday, it stunk. You could tell it was urine odor. Wednesday, you could not tolerate the urine odor. We had to report it. Ann was fast to get to our room. Fast to have the couch and mattress cleaned. We put everything back together after it was dry. That night it was ok. Thursday when you sit down on the couch, you could smell a light scent of urine. The couch is ruined and needs replacing. This needs to be passed on to the owner."

"My particular condo needed updating. For the most part the condos are independently owned and maintained. The condition varies. As far as Phoenix 3, it offers indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, racquetball, small gym, beautiful beachfront, nice new walkway to the beach and Ike’s beach services maintains the chair and umbrella rentals. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. Parking was ample and unloading and loading areas are covered. You can beat the price being it’s beach front, but it could have used some attention."

"Unit 159 Good location and great view on the 15th floor. Unfortunately, its not been kept up or updated (except the kitchen). Terrible curtains and blinds in the bedrooms, old patio furniture, bathroom shower and toilets have never been updated (not ADA compliant). Flooring is nice throughout,though. Walls need repainting. Cleaning crew doesn’t do a good job: Breakfast cereal in the sink upon arrival and the air conditioner filter has never been changed. Robe hook in closet was pulled out and left on top of the clean towels. Blankets in bedrooms haven't been cleaned. The building has no air conditioning in the elevators and they are really dirty as well. Access to the beach is good and proximity to restaurants (can walk to) is good. This unit does not warrant the $1000 per night price tag, in the least."

"I have absolutely 0 complaints about Phoenix III. This resort is absolutely amazing. The room we booked was beyond fantastic. The amenities are great, and being able to use the amenities at any Phoenix Building was a huge perk! It is literally steps to the beach with their own beach access, even has hoses to wash off the sand before coming into the building. Overall staff was friendly and helpful. I have nothing but great things to say about this resort!"
