"This place is rustic and not your typical "5-star" but they've tried to think of everything and are so accommodating that I couldn't give it less. The sailboat is old and small but still a fabulous getaway for 2! You have a chairs, grill, and hammock right by the boat for lovely moments. The other rooms have more amenities if you don't want the boat's close quarters (or to have to walk to your restroom/shower like you do for the boat) but the sway of the boat and the jetty's sea life up close & personal makes up for the disadvantages & then some! Super affordable and in the heart of the Keys! Plus, it's past the heavy traffic area making heading to the best beach, Bahia-Honda or even onto Key West super easy & relaxing, while still not too long of a drive (depending on traffic) to the conveniences of Islamorada just five to ten miles away. So stay here and bypass the uppity places! If you stay on the boat, turn off the big light outside & bring a high-power flashlight to see several saltwater animals: lizards, cranes, pelicans, huge sea snails, some sort of rock fish, needle nose fish, yellow striped fish, amongst others, lobster, crabs, Cassiopeia jellyfish, blue minnows, manowar's, Mantarays, shark, octopus, eel, and even possibly manatees! We saw all of these except the manatee which we clearly heard the call of on the dock next door but couldn't see over there clearly. One more note, the beds hard, so grab a cheap egg crate cushion on your way down of you like to sleep on softer surfaces. This place is old and more like camping than a resort but a definite adventure worth taking!"

"Absolutely loved it! I stayed on the boat. I loved every part of my state. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel don't get the boat, however if you want a really cool and unique experience definitely stay here. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. We plan on coming back over and over."
