"Stayed a couple of nights to “test the waters”. Then booked for another week! Completely satisfied! Spotless rooms on both visits. Larry has been great (he is not as grumpy as some have said!)!!! Having lived in Lakeland many years ago, this is an ideal spot! Close to good eateries, shops, and access to I-4! Highly recommended for the value!!!"

"The lady working the front desk, Jaqueline, was sweet but told me she’s been working less than two weeks, isn’t entirely sure how to handle some situations, and was calling her manager late at night for other guests with no answer. When it came to checking out, I was told to leave my room key on the front desk with other guests' keys; I called back a little later after my graduation ceremony to confirm she had checked me out. She then checked me out after 2 pm when I left before 10 am! The time to check out by was 11 am. I asked if I would be charged for her mistake, and she told me she’d have to call her manager, who never answers the phone, to help her. I'm not sure why she’s on her own just yet. Management is setting her up for failure with inadequate training. The rooms and hallways were not clean. You can hear the guests in the surrounding rooms and walking down the halls. The deadbolt on the door was hanging and did not latch. There were people hanging out and sleeping in the parking lot. And it was definitely not smoke-free."

"I am completely disgusted by the appearance of the property and the minute I walk through the front door of the hotel lobby. I was immediately taken back by the horrible smell it stink. It smelled like someone hadn’t showered in weeks yet there was no one in the hotel lobby when I got there, the floors were disgusting like they hadn’t been mopped or swept in weeks. The elevator was dirty as hell my room was dirty the sheets weren’t clean the bathroom was dirty the tub did not drain properly, so the water was just standing in the tub while I shower, it was noisy my entire day I didn’t get any rest I stayed in room 305 and was moved to room 423 when I got in the second room there was no shower curtain . But after I complained about the tub but either way I regret booking at this location because I feel like I wasted my money I was charged $155 I barely stayed there for more than six hours the entire time and then I was also charged $77 for what reason I was never told I will make sure to post a review of the pictures I took at my experience at this nasty hotel. If you do stay here pay attention to your charges because the young black girl behind the desk charged my card for someone else’s room .. fraudulent behavior will never be tolerated. This is where you come when you literally have no other choice. Good luck"

"The bathroom had red hair in the sink, the vinyl floor was dirty, and the room itself was unclean. It's a FULL size bed, super uncomfortable. On top of the cake, we woke up early the following day to check out and continue our trip, but reception was empty and we were advised to wait until 10am for the staff to come in, unacceptable. Definitely will never stay here again!"

"My husband and I recently had a horrible move out and are waiting for our new place to be ready. We decided that we had to stay somewhere for 7 days that would allow Service animals. I am a disabled individual. We did not arrive until late night and were exhausted. Larry the front desk clerk was cleaning when I walked in. He was so concerned about me. My leg has uncontrollable spasms and I limp. He thought I fell because of his cleaning. He was about to call an ambulance. He was so concerned about me so I quickly told him I was disabled and left my Service dog in the car to do a quick check in. Larry did a thorough check in, made sure we were on the first floor and on top of that, went to get the luggage dolly bringing it out to my car, holding all doors and walked us all the way to our room to make sure I was okay. I work for the Government, so I know Kindness is rare. Larry has nothing but kindness, empathy and compassion throughout him. The room is cozy, the amenities are great, the location has a lot around it, there are a lot of guests checking in everyday. Front desk staff like Larry make your stay here feel like home. If we ever have to stay for an extended amount of time again or even a night, we are coming back here!!!"
