"After some 50 years of care at Baptist including surgeries, chemo, radiation, I experienced one of the worst medicals experiences. after a morning of lab work and appointment with my oncologist, i set out for my mammogram and ultrasound which had been scheduled for some time. Unfortunately due to horrific rainstorm and parking problems at Baptist Medical Arts Bldg, i arrive 15 minutes late for my appointment. Upon check in, i was advised non chalantly my appointment was cancelled as i was late. I was shocked and upset as my oncologist had some concerns regarding a change in my condition. After my complaints, i was referred to a desk where i was advised nothing they could do. As i had back to back appointments ultrasound and mammogram, I requested they do at least one. Everything was denied and upon my stressful condition they referred me to a supervisor who immediately said to me, an 81 year old woman, that unless i calmed down she would immediately call for Security. Talk about throwing fuel on the fire!! I turned and left sobbing and shocked. I don't think i can return to these heartless people again so i start all over...this after some many many years of mammography at most of the many times always waiting minimum 30 minutes and up to hours for my tests and never complaining. They are rude, uncaring and certainly ill trained for any supervisory support. Heartbreaking experience and now with my my concerning condition, i will start from scratch Barbara Pareira"

"The lack of valet parking is a real problem for those of us with health issues. Parking at Baptist Main and Baptist West is utterly ridiculous. Even a handicapped spot is quite a distance from the building and then there is a lot of walking to get to the elevators. Previously there was valet parking but during the pandemic it was eliminated and I was told by an employee at a satellite office building that there is no plan to restore it to any of the buildings serviced by Baptist Health. I looked to see who to contact but there is no easy way to find a person in charge of this situation to either question or complain to. Baptist says "We care" well then care enough to make parking easier and to contact someone when there is a problem!"

"Previously, had a great experience and would have given a 5 but after today, a one star may be too much. After my appointment was change from location to another in a matter of hours without even informing or confirming with me previously. I went to medical arts location, as informed via telephone. I happend to be lost and called de Mci for help in directing me to the right place which resulting me to arrive around 16 mins later from my appointment. To my surprise after checking in, my appointment was cancelled because a radiologist neede to be on site. Really? After they make you wait in other appointments for an hour, you are saying my appointment was cancelled? All they can say its I understand, I apologize, we will reschedule. Everything was wrong since the beginning including the fact that my previous appointment in a closer location from home was cancelled and changed without my consent and then the second was also cancelled. I requested a day off from work and who pays for that? That summerized the service received today. Thank you"

"Had my mammogram today. The tech was fabulous. She was so great that the time flew by, and I hate doing mammograms. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful and that’s why I have used Baptist main, South Miami or Doctors for almost 50 years & still continuing to, because they are the very best. The nicest people to deal with. I will not go to Baptist in west Kendall as I feel totally opposite there."
