"My husband and I moved here 5 weeks,ago from South Florida.There was a communication error from my Doctor which pharmacy my prescriptions were sent Within minutes of my Dr visit I received a personalized message that Mt Dora pharmacy was filling my prescriptions and they would be ready soon I then received a call from the pharmacist who was so pleasant and cheerful that he needed my insurance information. Also, Explained to me that a refill for one of my other prescriptions were being done at another pharmacy said he would PERSONALLY call the other pharmacy to check. We went to go pickup the prescriptions and there also waiting for us was the prescription that I would have had to travel further to pick up. They were Sooooo pleasant and made the whole experience easy,caring and again the service,was exceptional Thank you! you will feel like u were treated like family"

"I needed an expensive drug (not covered by Medicare) for eye surgery. My eye Dr’s office called my pharmacy (Mt Dora Pharmacy) and negotiated it for $325. (Publix price was $440.). They are all kind, patient, informative and helpful; but, Avina is truly a customer’s personal angel. They expertly give painless Covid, flu and pneumonia shots (without needing an appt...but call first in case they are extremely busy). They are staffed for demand and work quickly...there are no long lines to pick up prescriptions (and free delivery). If you need to call and ask the pharmacists a question, there is rarely any hold time...they will thoroughly answer your questions. It’s the best pharmacy experience I’ve ever had."
