"Eight days after my appointment and several phone calls later, my prescriptions and referrals have not been sent to the pharmacy. I finally got to speak with the provider today. She blamed the practice manager, “glitches”, “things coming up”, etc. She blamed everything except that she simply didn’t send them . On another issue, it was clear she had not looked at my record and gave me misinformation. Medical care in Florida is not great but this practice needs to review their standards and could probably benefit from some mentoring to review and improve standards. In the meantime I hope to find a more reliable provider."

"I have not seen many doctors in my lifetime, but I wholehearthily recomend this senior clinic.Dr Acevedo doesnt know me well but always asks the right questions, has great bedside manners, and is on top of thr medications and how I should take them. "We have been with this office many years. Started with Dr Thomas then transferred to Dr. Gonzalez. We were very pleased with him as a doctor and the office staff was second to none. Referrals were prompt and nurses efficient. They had all these in office as well as manager on site to discuss any issue. When Humana/Centerwell bought Family Physicians Group, stating they would be doing senior care, fitting in that category, we were happy. That is, until appointments were triaged, and referral person worked out of office and appointments were given 3 or more months out. My care and my husband's care for most of this year has been abysmal. I need lab work every 3 months for A1C and kidney function but have not had. When Dr. Gonzalez left we were given an appointment for November and we had not been seen since June. I have chronic pain and no doctor to see me timely. I switched Drs as I have no faith that this senior care practice will ever be able to achieve that title. As for the office girls, they had superb staff and service. Zero complaints. A few are new but I'm certain the bad service is company based and does not reflect back to them as they follow what they are told to do. Health care has some changes that need to be person centered, but this practice is a 1 star if that."

"At first. I thought I had found a physician who cared. Dr Gonzàles is a real disappointment to me. He refused to fill my prescription without any notice or reason. I have suffered very much and he obviously does not care. People like him should not be involved with the elderly."
