UF Health Leesburg Hospital

"As a healthcare provider ( a doctor ), I must say the nursing staff and Charge nurses from the ER to the 2nd night shift floor were excellent. They went above and beyond to help my Dad and myself. There was one nurse that was rude and immediately several staff ER staff stepped in to correct it without me making a complaint. If you have one bad apple, it should not spoil the reviews for the rest of the very hard working hospital staff. Thank you Leesburg Hospital ER and 2nd floor staff."

"Terrible health care. My moms been in an ER room since 930 am. No food. No water. No room. Rude and nasty staff. I came home to make her a soup bc the cafeteria is closed. When I get there I want to speak to a supervisor ASAP"

"Some years ago the start of COVDI was in such pain in both my hips that my husband took me to the ER and my husband wasn't allowed in with me. Even though there was only another patient in front of me it took them two hours to have an Cat Scan. The techs were so impatient with me and was not kind to me at all actually they were physically rough with me that caused me more pain. Finally I get to see the horrible doctor and even though I was still in pain he didn't prescribe me any stronger medication. It was a waste of my time in going there! NEVER will I visit that hospital ER again!"

"This was the worst I have ever been treated by a RN. I arrived at the hospital ER by ambulance due to severe back pain. I arrived at 9:17 am. I was in severe pain and stated crying after waiting 1 hr to see someone. A woman came into my room and told me I was too loud and to stop crying because I was disturbing others then she waked out and shut my door. I found out later she was my RN. She made my visit to the ER miserable for me. Other personnel were nice. I acquired my ER report papers and she made comments and accusations that were right out lies. I have worked in the medical field for 30 yrs and have never came across such a rude and unprofessional as Tarrah. When I asked her her name because I told her I was very upset with how I was being treated, her reply was "make sure you spell it correctly " ! There was more that happened. But I will report it to the hospital administration. As long as I have a verbal choice I will never return to this ER. I had read complaints about this ER , but never imagined it could be so bad until I was the patient."

"I absolutely love this hospital. Yes it is a older hospital but I believe that did not effect anything. Everyone from the security guards to the medical staff were kind and helpful. I was admitted to the hospital after my water broke. I was scheduled for a c-section but my baby had plans of his own. Anyways within 3 hours my baby was safely delivered via c-section by a team that was unbelievably awesome. I stayed at the hospital a total of 3 days and with every shift change I was happy to see the care of the staff was amazing. If I need any medical help in the future I will be coming here always"
