"This is a review that makes me sad because I really liked the business, and the meat was always great. But, on more than one occasion, the bacon was way too salty, I couldn't eat it. That bacon should have been sold as bacon ends or salt pork, not for breakfast bacon. Today, I decided to mention it to the butcher, and he became instantly offended, how childish. A grown man being that sensitive about my legit complaint. He says rudely, "there's nothing I can do about that." Maybe an apology would have been more appropriate, but he walks off with his feelings hurt. I figured he was the one who over-salted the pork. Anyway, I then proceeded to the front register, where I was speaking to the owners son. He was very polite and apologetic. The butcher can't get control of his feelings, so he confronts me at the front desk, along with the owners daughter. Oh, the unprofessional behavior of this female hyena was uncalled for, bless her heart. I understand she had to protect her man's feelings, but just apologize for the salty-bacon. Instead, she showed me the door and told me not to come back. Oh, hun, you couldn't pay me to come back. My suggestion is to keep the sensitive butcher away from anyone who might have a complaint because he can't handle it. Keep the brother up front because he's the only one with a brain. The sister should take some classes on serving the public and learn how to descalate dissatisfied customers. It's sad that she feels like she must rescue the butcher because he's a weak man with all his feelings and stuff. To anyone who shops here and wants to continue, DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE OVER SALTY-BACON OR you will be shown the door because that's how they value their customers. Sad day, shameful and rude behavior from this group of professionals really did shock me. I honestly thought they were professionals. I was wrong. And to all my family members that get your deers processed here, don't complain even if legit. Or better yet, find a new deer processor that cares about their customers."

"Best of all the things!!! The flavor of the meat is perfect, you have to try the jalapeno cheese sausage. The staff is very respectful, kind, and knowledgeable. Will definitely get more products from them in the future!"

"Just discovered their smoked meats they do only on Friday and Saturdays. The smoked chickens are awesome, not dry but juicy and they are not little chickens. My husband said the smoked wings are the best he has ever eaten and I agree. They are good meaty wings not all bones like a lot of places."
