"always a waiting line for pharmacy. pharmacy tech doesn’t know about privacy, speak loudly that everyone around can hear the other person private information. always a line for the front cashier. smells badly, carpet stains, shelves with dust. employee always chatting on the phone, no curtesy as to assist finding anything."

"Long, but important: I went to CVS to pick up a script. When I got home, I opened the box and there were 4 white pills together with an aluminum backing to push them through. I read the label and it said, ‘take as directed,’ but no instructions as to how to take. Furthermore, the label said the quantity was 6 (remember I only had 4 pills). I read the label further and it described the medication as a pink, oblong pill. I then called the pharmacy and the rude tech said, ‘Well, you have to call your doctor.’ I said to her, ‘Call my doctor? That doesn’t make sense. My doctor calls in a prescription with instructions to the pharmacist as to how it should be filled. Furthermore, I received 4 pills, and the label says it should be 6.’ She then told me the package comes from the manufacturer like that. She was one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to and wouldn’t even try to understand or investigate. Pharmacists/techs are dealing with people’s lives potentially if medication isn’t taken correctly. Anyway, I called my doctor’s office and they explained that 1) there should be 6 pills and 2) how it should be taken: 2 today and 1 each day for the next 4 days. How the hell was I supposed to know that since it wasn’t on the label. I then called the pharmacy back and asked to speak to the pharmacist directly, which they did not want to do, but I insisted. I explained all of this again to the pharmacist and she explained that there should be 6 pills in the little box and that it comes from the manufacturer like that. She asked me to come back and bring the medication. I went back to the pharmacy, spoke to the pharmacist directly. Come to find out the wrong medication was put into the box by the manufacturer (so CVS claimed). The pharmacist even said, ‘I’m so glad you didn’t take this medication.’ I have no idea what it was. The reason the label said, ‘take as directed’ was because the correct medication gives you specific directions on the package as to how you are to take it. As sick as I was, another person just as sick may have taken that medication without reading, assuming they were to take one pill per day. Even if it comes from the manufacturer and the pharmacist does not count the pills, they should at least be looking in the boxes to be sure the correct medication is in the box! Terrible job by CVS."

"Paulette, one of the Pahrmacy Techs, is exempt from this review and is wonderful. She is the ONLY redeeming quality of this store. The Customer Service is non-existent. When I arrived today to pick up and RX that they had to call the Doc for a change on quantity and told me to come back. I got there and they were closed for lunch. This is a new challenge because they are grossly understaffed and apparently cannot rotate people to stay open. Two CVS stores nearby have recently closed, so demand is very high and they have less staff than ever. They have lost some EXCELLENT pharmacists (due to the stress, according to one of them). They USED to CARE. They USED to HELP. They USED to be KIND. While I was waiting for their lunch to be over and reopen, I had to use the restroom. There is only one (not one for each gender, no big deal). It was disgusting. The light switch had no cover plate, which is really dangerous, especially since there are no paper towels and the vintage 1980's blow dryer did not work. I'll let the rest of the pictures speak for themselves. In the end they had not contacted the Doc and I could not get my RX again. CVS, you are a record-profit company and this is the best you can do?!? You should be ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!"
