"Petsmart Grooming KILLED MY DOG!!! PINE RIGDE Road, Naples Location After you read this and feel moved to do so please talk about this post it on your own social media and get the word out. When we asked to see the video, the store referred us to their legal department. The legal department said they will not talk with us, but only an attorney. We still have not seen the video. I dropped my dog off April 13th at 11am. A few mins after 1pm, I picked him up. He had a chocking sound when he inhaled and was not calm as he usually is. I asked how long his breathing sounded like this. I was told the person grooming him asked another employee during his grooming if he was alright? The grimmer “gave him a break” before continuing his grooming. No one called me. Again I asked how long he was breathing this way because I was taking him to the emergency vet and needed to know what to tell them. The Emergency Vet said he had trauma to his trachea. For a day and a half they did everything they could to help him but he continued to decline to the point he had to be in oxygen or his tongue turned blue. Watching him gasp to breathe was heart breaking just as much as holding him when they had to put him to sleep because nothing could be done. My sweet boy is dead. His tongue is blue because of lack of oxygen. This is a picture right before he was put to sleep. It was so hard to say goodbye but I wanted the doctor to hurry because he was in such pain. I wanted him to have relief. They wanted him to not hurt."
