"The most disgusting Dollar store I've ever been in my life"
"I’m always very disappointed when coming to this store, but after today I will never go back. I came in with my younger sister who just wanted a toy from the quarter machine. She put in 50¢ and nothing came out. While it’s really not a big deal, younger kids care a lot about the money they get. I tried to ask the manager if she could please have 50¢ back since hers was taken. The manager was locked in her office on a very clearly non-work related call, rudely and blatantly told me that there was nothing she could do. Then, she slammed the door in my face. I find it disturbing and absurd that the manager of all people could treat customers this way. One would think that a manager would go through some sort of training to at least know how to be a little bit professional. Or at least to know to talk quietly enough that all the customers can’t hear her personal business."
"As a former employee and it being my first job, this is definitely the worst one around. Store was always a mess and disorganized with inventory laying around. Staff was always extremely rude and disrespectful towards employees and customers, using loud and sharp tones of voices towards everyone, always complaining about having to do their jobs and not wanting to get things done, and treating customers like they’re stupid. There had been many occasions where I’d call in sick and they would still try to force me to show up regardless of what condition I was in. They’d always leave associates to do all of the work while they’d either sit in the office and do nothing the whole time or go outside every 10 minutes to have a cigarette while leaving only 1 employee in the store to deal with all of the customers. There had been many occasions where a customer would ask a simple question and they’d give them an attitude and cause a whole argument. With many other stores being available, I will not be returning to this one anytime soon."
"Always fun. Except when you a hair shampoo BAR. Open it at home and discover the smell is NOT to our liking. Maybe it's a racial thing. I am not african, nor black which is words used on the packaging. But I wanted to try the shampoo bar and didn't want to spend 40$ on something that may or may not be worthwhile. Anyway dry it is not lovely. But we will try it still."
