Dollar Tree

"I went into the store and was looking around. While looking I heard a person, assuming she is the manager, talking with a customer by the door while the cashier was trying to keep up with the line. I shopped for about 10 minutes and got what I went in for. That wasn't a problem. The problem was listening to her discussing hiring and not hiring people and also about talking about her electric bill being so high. I could hear her and the customer throughout the whole store. When I was done shopping, I went to the one line that was open, while continuing to listen to her STILL talking to this customer, not noticing how long the line was getting. Finally, she went over to the other register and asked for the next customer. The man in front of me went over and I followed. She then ranted to him about her electric bill and added how she thought we would soon be using Yen and Ruppee soon. Also talked about how China and Russia will be taking over everything. I do not need to hear things like that in a store. If you want to discuss things like that, do it at home. I am not interested in your opinion about anything. I just want to buy my stuff and get it rung up in a timely manner. I think I will need to start driving further to the North Dollar Tree store now. Hopefully that store will be better. Corporate should let their employees know they should not be talking about things like that out on the sales floor. Save it for the backroom or home. The name on receipt was Jennie."

"The store manager "deedee" screamed and cursed at my wife in front of our children, in front of other customers and even had her employee emelia join in. This behavior was completely unacceptable and for it to be the store manager is even sadder. As we demanded corp. Info and process for complaints they continued to curse and be unprofessional and refused to provide that info to her. I want someone to get back in touch with me within 48 hours, if not I will be taking this to more publicly, this is unacceptable and I demand accountability."

"Their selection is ok ...no frozen food and short on some things they have had in the past. However the staff is very good and it is close to home and easier access than the other Sebring location."

"Love Dollar Tree. I know the lines are long and they usually only have 1 or 2 registers open for a packed store, but you can't beat the value and selection. If you find stuff you like, try to buy as much as you can, as the selection changes based on their distributor. Will keep coming and don't mind waiting in line. Thank you."
