"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tacos y Chelas, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. The decor was charming, with colorful accents and lively music setting the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. Now, let's talk about the food. I opted for the tacos, and I was not disappointed. Each bite was a burst of flavor, perfectly balanced with the right amount of spice and freshness, whether it was the tender carne asada, the flavorful al pastor. "A great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. The dining area is ample and nicely decorated. There are booths, half booths, and regular tables, as well as a full bar with comfortable stools. We started with cheladas (beer with lime juice and tajin on the rim), and chips & salsa, which are on the house. We ordered the tacos al pastor, taquitos dorados, and a tortilla soup, they were all delicious. We also tried both the classic and the Mescal Margaritas; the later was definitely the better one. The staff is very friendly, but the service was a bit slow. The other issue we encountered is that the menu prices and the prices on the charging device didn’t match; every item on our bill had a different higher price than the menu. We brought up the issue with the server and manager, and it was quickly resolved, plus we received a 10% discount for the inconvenience. The restaurant is still in the “soft opening” stage, so I hope to upgrade my 4-star rating to 5 stars in the near future."
