"I woke up at 4am a week ago with excruciating pain in my right shoulder. It went away during the day after a large dose of Ibuprofen and a really hot shower, but happened again several nights in a row - hardly got any sleep. With no sign of improvement after 3 or 4 sleepless nights, I visited Dr. Lutz who assessed me and then did some manipulation. That night, the pain started earlier - at about 11pm, but I went back the next day for another session, and the following night - I slept through the night for the first time in nearly a week. Sometimes aches and pains really are local, but sometimes they are caused by back/neck problems. Always worth checking to see if some manipulation fixes the problem before you start on steroids, pain killers, NSAIDs, etc."
