"It’s been about a month and every day I’m reminded to do this review for other women… This doctor seemed “knowledgeable” to me because she’s younger I’m not sure why but I honestly wished I did more research. So for the women out there looking for information about this woman I hope this finds you. Now I’m not opposed to people going on vacation but this doctor literally went to Europe right before my due date (which is what made me feel like her wanting to induce me was all about the money). At 40 weeks most doctors want to induce you but this doctor pressured me several times after I told her I wanted to progress at home and that I had a doula who explained to me all my options which my doctor didn’t, she made me feel like I only had one option. I wasn’t high risk, my baby was healthy and strong and so was I. She used scare tactics to try and pressure me into getting induce, saying things like she didn’t want my baby to pass away and didn’t want me to be heart broken when there was no sign that that such thing would happen. My anxiety was so high in her office I wanted to cry. I’m so glad I was knowledgeable enough to stand my ground and give birth naturally (please do your research on induced labor) the way I intended and she knew that’s what I wanted but didn’t care. She couldn’t tell if my baby’s head was up or down when she checked for my baby’s position, she told me she was going to have to give me epidural to turn my baby and then I was going to need an emergency c section which brought my stress levels through the roof when all along my baby was positioned correctly. I asked for the prescription for my breast pump several times (even my insurance called and requested it) and she wouldn’t send it because she was upset that I didn’t give birth the way she wanted me too. I later learned that the reason she pressured me to get induce was so she could control my labor so she would deliver the baby and get paid for it not because she cared for me and my daughters well being. Because I didn’t do it her way she cared nothing about me. Also she knew if I delivered at a different hospital UHealth wouldn’t accept me for my postpartum visits which she never told me she just had a feeling I wasn’t going to her hospital (which I didn’t because she wasn’t there and I didn’t think I would make it anyway so I went to the hospital closest to me) and didn’t make the appointment but every other appointment was created weeks in advance. These may not seem like huge deals to some but I urge you to consider the type of pregnancy you want, the life of your baby and yourself before allowing a doctor that only cares about money to play such a vital role in bringing your baby into this world."
