"Listen LEMME TELL YA. Had Manzano’s for the very first time for lunch yesterday. Dreamt about it, woke up, had the other half of my sandwich for breakfast…. Proceeded to go to work and make the best money of my week. My buddy and I got the Rocco and the OK Corral, PHENAHHHHHMENAL. I walked through the front door and the aroma stimulated my senses immediately. The staff was incredible and I felt at home, I’m not from New York, still felt like home. 20 outta 10 will recommend and will not shut up until you go and try it. Stop eating mediocre sandwiches from mediocre chains, support your home town business or have the culinary experience of a lifetime if you’re visiting. Over stuff yourself with no regret. Manzanos spares no expense, they leave no expectation unexceeded. The only regret you’re gonna have, is that you didn’t buy more. This is the elite premier echelon of food deland has to offer if you eat with your hands, hands down."
"I’ve been coming here for over a decade and the quality has remained consistently high the entire time! For my money, these are the best sandwiches in all of Central FL, with the crispiest crustiest bread known to man! It’s not just the bread though, they use top quality meats and pile them high! Only drawbacks are they are only open a few hours a day (which don’t fit well with my work schedule), and the restaurant itself is quite cramped, but the sandwiches more than make up for it!"

"Great Historic Downtown DeLand sandwich shop. Just great!!! Well two years later and Manzano’s is as good as ever. I’ve NEVER had a bad, mediocre, or average sandwich from here. That’s why I keep coming back. The New York bread is like nothing else around. The meat is piled high, delicious, and filling. You get your money’s worth!!!! There are hot and cold sandwiches. Subs and paninis."
