"Bought a Fly Werx helmet for our son for Christmas, there was an issue the first time he wore it. Right away we took the helmet into the shop to have it looked at. The employee we spoke to agreed there was an issue and called the owner. We were told to come back after the holiday weeks. Brought it back and left it, 3 to 4 weeks later, after several follow up calls and a call to our team owner, the owner finally got back with a fairly patronizing email. Without speaking directly to us regarding the problem he said the helmet was fine. So 3 round trip drives from Tampa to Clearwater and 2 months later we still have a $400 helmet with an issue. Hopefully Fly racing will do better than J and R. If you want to spend your money at a place the owner is going to assume you have no clue about bikes or race wear, shop here. Definitely an example of how a lack of true business competition can leave a very bad taste in the mouth of the consumer. All future bike related purchases will be directed to other businesses. It he two stars are to give a little credit to the employees who did try to help."
"I brought my GT La Bomba frame in to the shop with a terribly stripped bottom bracket. The guys were closing up in 30 mins and still didnt hesitate to help me. And they had the part there in stock to replace it and had my bike fixed same day! I brought it back a week later to show them the finished product, and ended up leaving it there to get the wheels rebuilt. New gold spokes and a few days later and the bike looks so sick! I can’t thank the guys enough for being so cool through everything. Keep this place alive! Thanks guys ❤️"

"J&R is the best of the best for everything BMX. From their apparel, bike parts and equipment to their mechanics services at the State races, they set the bar higher than anyone else. We have used many of the mechanics at the State races and J&R is the only tent that can get our riders bike 100%, 100% of the time!!"
