"I played 9 late yesterday afternoon without a wait. All the visiting family members and twice a year golfers had gone home. The course has three rebuilt greens that have all grown in. This is a challenging golf course for high handicap golfers. You have to stay clear of the water that runs along several holes. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants a challenging round at a reasonable price."

"I played Bonaventure Monday morning and was able to birdie hole 3 (Waterfall / par 3) and par hole 17. Great golf today at Bonaventure. The greens were tricky and fast. I have posted two pictures of the rebuilt greens (5 & 17) Pictures older than three months should be ignored as the new Superintendent has made lots of improvements there."
"Terrible experience! The aggression and disrespect that the supervisor spoke with was appalling. This guys was supposed to be a supervisor and was just mean when talking to our group (playing the first tee time of the day). The amount you have to pay to play on a non-maintained course is INSANE. The greens were un-puttable, there was trash all along the course, the cart paths at one point had 50 feet of plywood laid over potholes. No one should be proud of working here and the price should be a quarter what it is. Are they even using the crazy amount of money paid to go toward course maintenance or just pocketing it all…"
